A “split” between August, Bethesda, Charred Canvas, though we wrote almost all of these songs through various improvisation sessions.

A strange anomaly uncovered during the sessions in which the Iron Oxide inside of the tape reel being used was worn substantially enough to cause “disintegration” in the recordings. So the fused presence of these disintegrated recordings alongside their original piece is a common thread.

Most of these songs feature bones with heavily damaged tape drones that result in audio quality that is sketchy and strange. Often making it hard to tell if this is a studio recording at all at times.

Careening was my homage to my friends in Careen.

Paradise Is Mine is a duo experiment between August and Charred Canvas (Aiden Blau: Careen, ESO, Triage) this was recorded during our time in our band Contra just before it ended due to our drummer passing away in October 2018.

Object of Desire is a split ambition between myself and Charred Canvas recorded in August of 2020 melded with a solo effort I accrued from a quartet of myself, Jansen Carter, Alexandra Long, and Carl Johnson from 2014.

The track Impure Thoughts is a live recording from August's performance in Portland, Oregon on November 26th, 2022.

The song Sunken In was a recording of our performance at Chapel on December 29th, 2022 featuring drummer Casey Adams.

Physical releases come in C90+C60+C60 casettes or triple discs and feature two covers. The second is a painting that was gifted to me by Uma Lucek-Morris who painted it and gave it to me as a gift in early 2021 and currently hangs on my bedroom wall. Inside features an image of myself as a baby as well as liner notes documenting the map of this album.
